What Isaac Fayose's comments reveal is that he had personal expectations from Peter Obi. There is nothing wrong with having expectations, but expectations can also become the source of disappointment when they are not fulfilled.

This is where I believe many of us must mature in our understanding of this movement.

There comes a point where your support is no longer centered on whether Peter Obi knows your name, calls your phone, visits your house, or publicly acknowledges your efforts.

Your focus shifts from "Will Peter Obi recognize me?" to "How can I recognize and encourage others on behalf of the movement?"

You stop seeing yourself as someone working for Peter Obi's ambition.

You begin to see yourself as a stakeholder in Nigeria's future.

That changes everything.

When you become a stakeholder, you no longer wait to be celebrated before making a contribution. You no longer measure your sacrifice by the amount of recognition you receive. You understand that this struggle is bigger than any individual.

Peter Obi is not the destination.

Good governance is.

A better Nigeria is.
Justice is.
Competence is.

Integrity is.

Those are the values we are fighting for.

And if those values are truly what brought us together, then our commitment should not depend on whether Peter Obi remembers our names.

In fact, the areas where you think Peter Obi has weaknesses or leadership gaps should not become reasons to withdraw. They should become opportunities for you to step in and strengthen the movement.

That is what stakeholders do.

Soldiers on a battlefield do not stop fighting because the commander did not shake their hands. They continue because they believe in the mission.

That is the mindset that will ultimately transform Nigeria.
Support the ideals, not just the individual.
Build the movement, not your ego.

Because in the end, history will not remember everyone who was applauded.

It will remember everyone who made Nigeria better.
