In a world that glorifies speed, one habit every young person should intentionally cultivate is contentment.

Work relentlessly. Dream boldly. Pursue excellence. But never let your hunger for success rob you of the peace that comes from appreciating what you already have.

Many young people today, especially in Nigeria, are caught in the race to "make it" at all costs. The pressure to amass wealth quickly and "pass my neighbor" has driven some into crime, corruption, and shortcuts that destroy lives and futures.

But pause and ask yourself:
If gaining everything means losing your integrity, was it ever success?

Money can buy comfort, but it cannot buy a clear conscience. Wealth acquired through dishonesty may impress people for a season, but it rarely brings lasting peace.
The real victory isn't becoming rich overnight. It's building a life of honest work, contentment, and character that no one can take away.
At the end of it all, the question won't simply be, "How much did you make?" It will be, "What did it cost you to make it?"
