So I called the Opay account owner which the are contributing the money for the transformer today to ask about our transformer issue.

He told me he has met with the Commissioner and even the Governor, but up till now, he has not received any response, when I asked about the money we are contributing he said till the transformer arrives 🤔🤔 (something is not clear here, is the public reading at all?)

Meanwhile, we residents were asked to contribute ₦1.8 million for a transformer. Many people paid, others made promises, and now we're all waiting on the government.

Eight months without electricity in a state capital. So, were we asked to contribute because the transformer was urgent, or are we now expected to wait indefinitely? 😉😂
