BREAKING: The Federal Government has filed a 10-count charge against three men over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers from a school in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The three men, who are from Suleja in Niger State, are:
1. Abdulrazak Umar, also known as Abu Khalifa or Abu Khalid
2. Yunusa Musa
3. Shamsu Adamu Sani, also known as Abu Itisar

The government is accusing them of terrorism, kidnapping, concealment, incitement, and illegal mining. The charges were filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

They are alleged to have conspired with Muhammad Sani, Jibril Mohammed, and Ibrahim Khabab between January and May to kidnap the schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

The prosecution said the alleged conspiracy contravened Section 26(1) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
