The controversy surrounding Peter Obi’s airport parking incident has taken a new turn after businessman Nnaemeka Ikerionwu offered to pay the ₦25,000 fine imposed on the former presidential candidate.
Responding to the offer, Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo directed him to liaise with FAAN on the payment process, insisting that airport regulations must be respected by all Nigerians.
The incident continues to spark debate, with supporters and critics divided over whether it was simply law enforcement or politically motivated.
