Does the government not know what we're going through, or do they simply not care?

For 8 months, residents of Ankpa Quarters, Makurdi, Benue State have been living without electricity because our transformer broke down. Instead of fixing it, we were told to contribute ₦1.8 million ourselves.

How can people living in a state capital be left in darkness for eight months? We pay taxes, yet we're still expected to fund basic infrastructure that government should provide.

This is not just about electricity it's about neglect. The people of Ankpa Quarters deserve better. Benue State deserves better.
