If a governor spends 8 years in office without meaningful development, fails to empower youths, create jobs, improve education, healthcare, or infrastructure, or sports then immediately seeks another 8 years in the Senate, citizens have every right to question those ambitions. Public office should be about service, not a lifelong career. Leadership should leave a legacy of progress, not promises. Democracy works best when leaders are held accountable for their performance, and those seeking higher office should first show what they achieved in the positions they already held.
