The church has the duty to actively confront the systemic failures of governance. There is need for strategic mobilisation of communities to place people of integrity into political positions, effectively combining spiritual faith with practical civic responsibility. The contemporary church must develop and back concrete plans to rescue the nation from bad governance and insecurity. Prayer must empower these practical strategies, transforming faithful believers (citizens) into active and strategic participation in politics.
