FOUR WASTE OFFENDERS ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING

Today, LAWMA intensified enforcement efforts to halt illegal dumping as it arrested and transferred 4 environmental offenders to the Lagos State Task Force for prosecution over illegal refuse dumping.

The offenders are Chijekwu Okafor (22), Abubakar Muhammed (24), Jubril Isa (23) and Henry Omoro (35).

Today's arrest makes a total of 16 offenders since Tuesday, 14th of July, 2026.

Illegal waste disposal is a violation of Lagos State environmental laws. LAWMA will continue to identify, apprehend and prosecute offenders as part of its commitment to keeping Lagos clean and livable.
