WHEN THE FLESH IS SILENT

Matthew 17:22-23 KJV
[22] And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: [23] And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

A wise man knows that opposition does not exist only when they appear, but could be silent waiting for the right time. There are many enemies that will not stand up against a man until they are threatened. You must be careful never to think that you dont have an enemy just because there is no opposition standing up against you. You will think that the devil had given up on Jesus after the temptation in the wilderness until you read further to know that he only left for a season.
Luke 4:13 KJV
And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
The text shows how Jesus was freely talking about His crucifixion. He spoke boldly about it without any sense of fear. But the event that happened in Gethsemane made it look like the same Jesus who spoke to the disciples in excitement about His death was not the same person asking to be excused from the cross. The flesh did not complain about anything as long as Jesus was not yet ready to go to the cross. But immediately the devil discovered that He had made up His mind to go to the cross, he opened up his arsenal and started fighting through the flesh of Jesus. Beloved, you must never make the mistake that because there is no opposition against you, therefore, the devil has left you alone. The only reason that makes it look like there is no problem for now is that you have not made any move that will affect his kingdom. The moment you decide to do something that will dispel darkness, you will be shocked at the opposition from the devil through the flesh. This is why whenever you feel that the flesh is not crying, you should know that you are actually not disturbing the kingdom of darkness or the devil did not see you make any move that will affect him.
As long as Jesus had not gone to Gethsemane or been ready to go to the cross, the flesh did not suggest that the will of God should be suspended. (Matthew 26:38-39). I implore you today to always prepare ahead knowing that the devil will make a move against you once you decide to stand for God or purpose. Do not listen to him and stop that fasting because he is scaring you with medical challenges. Do not allow him to keep the picture of lack in your heart perpetually so you will not give to God. Do not allow him to use tiredness to stop you from praying at night. Do not allow him to stop you from going to Church because somebody offended you. He is trying to isolate you so he can carry out his evil agenda against you. You will never be a victim of his in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace for my spirit to be alive and active in Jesus name.
