‭Deuteronomy 7:19-20 AMP‬
[19] the great trials which you saw with your own eyes, and the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand and the outstretched arm by which the Lord your God brought you out. So shall the Lord your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid. [20] Moreover, the Lord your God will send the hornet (His terror) against them, until those who are left and hide themselves from you perish.

Reflection on Deuteronomy 7:19–20 (AMP)

This passage reminds God's people to remember what He has already done. The Israelites were not to focus on the strength of their enemies but on the greatness of the God who had delivered them from Egypt with mighty signs and wonders.

God tells them that the same power which brought them out of bondage would go before them into every future battle. Even the "hornet" symbolizes God's supernatural intervention, showing that He is able to fight for His people in ways they could never accomplish on their own.

Whenever fear tries to overwhelm us, we should remember God's past faithfulness. The God who has delivered us before is still able to remove every obstacle, defeat every enemy, and make a way where there seems to be none.

Prayer Points

1. Heavenly Father, thank You for every victory You have given me in the past.

2. Lord, replace every fear in my heart with unwavering faith in Your power.

3. Father, fight every battle that is beyond my strength and grant me victory.

4. Let every obstacle standing against Your purpose for my life be removed by Your mighty hand.

5. Help me to always remember Your faithfulness and trust You in every situation.

6. Lord, let Your presence go before me and make every crooked path straight.

7. I declare that I will not live in fear, because the Lord my God is with me and will fight for me. Amen.
