The first look images from the "Children of Blood and Bone" movie adapation have arrived. The film is set to hit theaters on January 15, 2027 and is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood.

In the epic fantasy world of Orïsha, a young woman goes on a quest to reclaim the magic that was violently stolen from her people. She and her brother ally with the daughter and son of the king to fight back against his brutal rule.

The cast includes Thuso Mbedu, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg, and Tosin Cole. Also featuring Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Zackary Momoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Idris Elba and Viola Davis. Chiwetel Ejiofor stars as King Saran and Regina King as Queen Nehanda.
