The anger of our young people is valid, but anger without direction has never built a nation.

This is why many now choose insults, harsh words and raw emotion to discuss politics instead of strategy.

It is not because we lack intelligence. It is because of three simple realities.

First, pain without a channel. When a brilliant youth sees opportunity closed and promise broken for years, frustration becomes his only language. Insult becomes a way to feel powerful when he feels powerless.

Second, the illusion of digital power. Social media rewards the loudest voice, not the wisest one. It gives us a microphone but it does not give us a structure. So we mistake comments for influence and likes for leadership.

Third, exclusion by design. We were not taught civic literacy. So we do not know that politics rewards organization, patience and numbers, not emotion.

Here is simple wisdom we must remember.

We all have the right to accuse anyone. That is freedom of speech. But none of us has the right to force another person to accept our opinion. That is not freedom. That is dictatorship of emotion.

The irony is painful. Many of us are so emotional and so eloquent in attacking those in office, yet we refuse to make ourselves available for the same office. We want to control the game from the fence, but history has never been made from the fence.

So let me share this knowledge plainly.

If you do not join politics today and bring your best ideas, your education and your strength into that established force you criticize, tomorrow the very people you call thugs will be your governor. They will be the ones to represent you in the National Assembly, from the federal to the local level.

Do not be deceived. The system benefits when you stay away. The players inside will do everything humanly possible to provoke you, to make you hate politics, to make you feel it is dirty and far from you. Your distance is their greatest asset. Your absence is what allows them to enrich themselves and secure the future of their own generations with your commonwealth.

A wise man said, if you avoid the kitchen because of smoke, you will never eat.

Do not curse the darkness. Light a candle. Join a party, learn the rules, build a team, bring your idea. Insults can trend, but only strategy can govern.
