*2nd Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Vs 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Vs 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)*

God gives
1. Bread for your food
2. Seed to sow

God gives us firstly for ourselves, and then for others. He gives us so we can give to others.
God’s channel of blessing is through men. Wealth is in the earth and the way it moves from one person to the other is by giving.
Prosperity in the kingdom of God is seen when a man gives, not when he has.
A man gives glory to God in his giving, and not in his accumulation of wealth.
We give from what we have received of God, we give as God has prospered us.
God meets the needs of believers by the giving of other believers. Giving for the believer is primarily for saints who do not have in the local Church. We are not to neglect the needs of the saints and go about giving to poor people on the street or getting involved with philanthropic activities to the world.
We are blessed so that we can be a blessing. We receive so we can give.
Therefore, giving is a priority for a believer. When he gives, he is showing that he has received from God and he has nothing of his own.
