Your Excellency President Tinubu and Senate President Akpabio, Opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the continued spending of public funds on investigations that Nigerians view as wasteful, especially in cases already before the courts or under review by agencies such as the EFCC and ICPC. 240 million Nigerians believe these institutions have lost public trust for decades, and continuing to allocate taxpayer money to duplicative inquiries only worsens the frustration felt across the country for decades
240 million Nigerians are demanding that all stolen public funds be fully recovered and redirected toward meaningful national development. Instead of spending money on repeated probes, we demand you to invest in initiatives that directly improve the lives of the 240 million Nigerians you serve. These priorities include:
Building free housing across all 36 states and 774 local government areas
Providing free education from primary school to the PhD level
Investing heavily in farming to achieve nationwide food sufficiency
Ensuring free electricity and free public Wi-Fi/data access
Addressing the root causes of insecurity, including Boko Haram, through economic empowerment
Creating sustainable jobs for 240 million of Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA
Reforming the police force to ensure accountability and professionalism
We reject the creation of state police due to concerns about potential abuse of power by governors and their families
Abolishing NYSC and DSS in their current forms and replacing them with more effective national service and security structures
We also demand for an end to the practice of political office holders receiving large monthly salaries while ordinary Nigerians struggle. We demand that these funds be redirected toward paying 240 million Nigerians a living wage and supporting national development.
Nigerians are united in asking for responsible leadership, transparent governance, and a commitment to using public resources for the benefit of all. We urge you to take immediate action to recover stolen funds and invest them in the future of this nation.
