Your Excellency President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio, and Vice President Shettima, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts ,efcc ₦50 million is roughly between $30,000 and $35,000 USD depending on the exact exchange rate at the moment. 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the ongoing challenges facing Nigeria and to urge immediate, structural action to address them. Nigerians continue to endure insecurity, economic hardship, and declining public services, and we believe the government must take decisive steps to fix the root causes rather than rely on temporary or symbolic measures.
Respectfully we demand a comprehensive action not lies/slogans to address the root causes of boko haram and other extremist groups. This includes investing heavily in agriculture, rural development, and job creation so communities can thrive and young Nigerians have real opportunities. Nigeria must become food‑sufficient, and farming should be a national priority.
We also demand for major reforms in national institutions. Many Nigerians believe the NYSC and DSS no longer serve their intended purpose and should be abolished. In addition, we demand free education up to the PhD level across all 36 states and 774 local government areas. Education is the foundation of national development, and every Nigerian deserves access.
We reject the distribution of akara, corn, or similar symbolic gestures. Nigerians need sustainable policies, not temporary handouts. We also strongly oppose the continued spending of taxpayer money on luxury vehicles and non‑essential purchases. These funds should be redirected toward farming, free education, free housing, and new hospitals in every state and local government area.
Furthermore, we demand free electricity and free public Wi‑Fi/data, promises that have been made for decades but never fulfilled. These are essential infrastructure investments that will improve productivity, education, and national development.
Finally, we demand for accountability at the highest level. Many Nigerians believe that President Tinubu should resign, just as the UK Prime Minister did, to allow new leadership to address the nation’s challenges with transparency and urgency.
Nigeria deserves better, and we urge you to act now.
