CITIES ARE CONTAGIOUS
Without people who have moved in from somewhere else, the city would only be as dense as the countryside.
Cities are connectors. When they work, it's because the others are there as well. The successful city persists because it's worth more to be part of it than to be apart from it.
And the metaphor is real: our project, the network effect, the movement, the connections - they are a city. Our city. A system that is part of other systems, with a chance to make a change happen.
We can create the conditions for it to thrive. No one wants to be hustled, but plenty of people are eager to be part of something that matters.
Change happens overtime, but hastiness undermines an effective strategy.
