#whatstrendingwithojyokpe Ningi is right about the problem, wrong about the method.
Right problem: Nigerians are tired of vague rescue stories with no hard evidence, no named suspects, and no visible justice.
Wrong method: Public parading without robust legal process risks turning justice into theatre and suspects into props.
The real demand should be:
“Don’t just parade them, prosecute them openly, document everything, and let Nigerians see justice done in court, not only on camera.”
Until Nigeria moves from performative security to transparent, accountable justice, every rescue will raise as many questions as it answers, and trending videos will keep doing the work our institutions refuse to do.
