Human strength has its place, but it was never meant to be the foundation of our confidence.
People can disappoint us. Positions can change. Wealth can disappear. Influence can fade. Even our own abilities have limits. When we build our security solely on people or circumstances, we leave ourselves vulnerable to uncertainty.
This doesn't mean we stop trusting people altogether. Rather, it means we keep our ultimate trust where it belongs—with God. He alone remains constant when everything else is changing.
One of life's greatest lessons is learning to appreciate the help people offer without making them the source of our hope. The arm of flesh may fail, but God's faithfulness never does.
As you go through the rest of the week, trust God more than your fears, more than your plans, and more than the limitations of those around you. His strength never runs out.
