Let me speak as a citizen to Gov. Seyi Makinde. You may have something you want the citizens to know about the abduction but there is a way to go about it, right place, right time.

Firstly sir, your quick response should be the welfare and rehabilitation of the victims.

Secondly, identify with the public for the lapse in security that led to the abduction and apologize with the hope to do better.

Soft reminder please, security and welfare of the people is the government's first priority to her citizens.

I think this should be your top priority rather than seeking international intervention at the moment. Let's be calming down please.

It's sad we lost some of our gallant officers during the rescue operation.
