The American League dominated the 2026 #MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia with a 4-0 win over the National League. With the win, the AL extended its all-time lead to 49-45-2 in All-Star Games. It was also the first shutout in an All-Star game since Citi Field in 2013.

The starting rosters for each league's position players plus designated hitter (DH) were determined by fan balloting, which was conducted in two phases. The top vote-getters from each league were Ernie Clement for the AL and Shohei Ohtani for the NL. Sadly, Shohei Ohtani could no attend due to an ongoing knee injury that caused him to miss his last scheduled start.

Jennifer Hudson performed "America the Beautiful" and Miles Teller shared a special message over Meek Mill's "Dreams and Nightmares" before players, coaches and staff are introduced to the fans. Patti Labelle sang the national anthem and Boyz II Men performed during the "Stand Up To Cancer" initiative.
