Behold the partridge that stealeth what it did not lay, and know the fate of him who gathereth riches through deceit. He may warm himself by stolen fire for a season, but the flames shall one day consume the thief. The wise man therefore laboureth with clean hands, knowing that riches honestly won bring quiet sleep, while dishonest gain bringeth restless nights and an uneasy conscience.
