Standing out brings real rewards, but it requires courage and original thinking. Being unique forces people to pay attention to our ideas, skills, and talents. Fitting in gets us comfort. Standing out gets us success. Like a lion in the jungle, when we stand out, we do not let small dogs distract us. A tree planted in a valley easily blends in, but a tree that grows the tallest catches the best sunlight.
