Some people mistake patience for weakness. They think that because you're calm, forgiving, and slow to react, you'll tolerate anything. What they don't realize is that emotionally mature people usually give countless chances before they finally walk away. When they reach their limit, it isn't because they're cruel. It is because they've exhausted every reason to stay. Never take someone's kindness for granted. The version of them you meet after repeated disrespect is often the version you created.
