MOSES SIMON CLEARS THE AIR ON RANGERS REMARKS, REAFFIRMS RESPECT FOR THE CLUB
Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has issued a public clarification following the reactions to his recent interview about his time with Enugu Rangers.
The Paris FC forward explained that the experiences he shared were personal and reflected a specific period in his football journey. He stressed that his comments should not be interpreted as a representation of the present-day Rangers, noting that clubs evolve, leadership changes, and progress should always be acknowledged.
Simon also emphasized that he never intended to offend or portray any tribe, ethnic group, or community in a negative light. According to him, he has always stood for respect, unity, and judging people based on their character rather than their background.
The Nigerian international expressed appreciation to Rangers General Manager/CEO, Amobi Ezeaku, for personally reaching out to him. He described their conversation as open, honest, and constructive, while commending Ezeaku for his understanding and professionalism.
Simon concluded by reiterating his admiration for Rangers International, describing the club as one of Nigeria’s historic football institutions. He wished the club, its players, coaching staff, management, supporters, and leadership continued success in the seasons ahead.
