Air Force, Drones Failed to Penetrate Forest Canopy in Oyo Rescue Operation, Says Army Commander

Major General Chinedu Nnebeife has revealed that thick forest canopy in the Old Oyo National Park prevented the Nigerian Air Force and drone teams from effectively tracking terrorists holding 44 abducted pupils and teachers.

He assured residents that security forces were intensifying ground operations and intelligence gathering efforts to rescue the victims safely.
