But why would a king, after eating all the assorted traditional sacrifices in the shrines, go to church for Thanksgiving? Instead of gathering his people, slaughtering many cows, goats, dogs, and other worthy animals to thank the gods he pledged allegiance to in his ancestral room, and letting the people eat to their satisfaction. But they would rather go with huge sums of money to say, "Oluwa e tobi, e tobi o.., isn't that funny 😐
