Should Peter Obi be the one to be fined or the driver of the vehicle? Obi did not drive the vehicle. He was not the one who broke the law.
Not that it matters, but just to situate the matter properly.
Besides, shouldn't there be a formal charge and an arraignment before a court of competent jurisdiction?
Is it the usual practice for an Aviation Minister to direct that an offender be fined? Is there no process leading to the fine if deserved? Isn't the minister acting accuser, judge and prosecutor in this matter?
Just asking to be enlightened on the matter.
