We Must Reform Policing, Not Just Create State Police - Amadi

We need greater decentralisation to bring policing closer to the people. That can be achieved by restructuring the relationship between state commissioners of police and the Inspector-General of Police. I am neither for nor against state police. The priority should be to properly diagnose the problem and adopt solutions that address it, rather than pursue ideas simply because they seem appealing.
