Isaac Newton (1642–1727) was an English mathematician, physicist, and astronomer widely regarded as one of the greatest scientists in history.

He revolutionized mathematics by independently developing calculus, alongside Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, and made groundbreaking contributions to algebra, geometry, and numerical methods.
