Ada Ogbu Disputes Keyamo’s CCTV Account

Ada Ogbu, former Enugu East senatorial candidate, says she was “a member of the team that accompanied Obi on July 4” and states:

“He doesn’t have policeman as driver” in Abuja.

She posted this on X on July 11, 2026, saying she witnessed events firsthand and that Keyamo’s claim about a police driver is “inaccurate.”

Ada Ogbu’s statement puts direct pressure on Keyamo to publish the footage he referenced, because the driver’s identity should be obvious on tape.

What this contradicts in Keyamo’s statement
Keyamo’s CCTV breakdown said:
“Mr. Obi arrived... driven by a Policeman” and “The Police driver then parked the vehicle...”

So the dispute is now about who was driving: police officer vs civilian driver.

Why this matters to the overall controversy
Keyamo’s case rests on 3 elements:
1. Car left unattended for 30 mins = security risk
2. Driver was a policeman who should “know better”
3. Obi used “influence” via phone call to get it released.

If point #2 is false, it doesn’t change whether the car was unattended, but it undercuts Keyamo’s “even his police driver broke the rule” argument. It also raises questions about the accuracy of the CCTV narration.

Both sides are now making factual claims that the CCTV should resolve:
1. Who was driving — The footage should show the driver’s uniform if he’s police.
2. How long car was unattended — Timestamp will settle this.
3. Whether other cars were treated differently — Needs wide-angle view Keyamo says disproves Obi.

Until FAAN/Ministry releases the actual video, it’s Keyamo’s narration vs Obi’s team’s eyewitness account.

Bottom line: The controversy has shifted from “was the car wrongly parked?” to “is Keyamo’s description of the CCTV accurate?” Ada Ogbu’s statement puts direct pressure on Keyamo to publish the footage he referenced, because the driver’s identity should be obvious on tape.
