A Reform To Make NYSC Optional Is What Is Ideal - Kila

People don't need to be forced into it against their will and their lives are not tagged with it forever. There is a mental and psychological issue around NYSC that people are not facing. Because of the NYSC today, there are too many Nigerians whose instinct is to lobby and lie to get postings to camps and offices with connections. This situation is creating a generation of young people whose first impact with adult life is to lie and rely on connections rather than serve the country.
