Thank God the Oriire abductees are free at last. I rejoice with their loved ones for this very good news.

But as euphoria fills the air, and rightly so, let's spare a thought for the children and their teachers who were abducted from their school at Mussa, Askira Uba LGA on the same day and time the Oriire incident happened, May 15th. They're still in captivity. Curiously both the govt and the media have been silent about the Borno incident. And to compound it students writing NECO exams in GSS Lassa in the same Askira Uba LGA were also abducted along with some of their teachers on June 29. We don't even have the numbers. This too has gone under the radar, unfortunately.
Who speaks for them?
