Perhaps it is also time to ask a simple question: Does the government know every agency it has created? An immediate audit of all ministries, departments, agencies, commissions, and special offices would help verify their legal status, source of authority, leadership structure, budget allocations, bank accounts, and operational mandates. If nothing is wrong, such an exercise should only strengthen public confidence. If something is wrong, Nigerians deserve to know how it happened and who made it possible.
