‘He’s never coming home’ — niece of slain Ogbomoso teacher reacts to rescue of abducted pupils

The family of Michael Oyedokun, the schoolteacher who was beheaded by bandits while in captivity, has reacted to the release of the abducted pupils and teachers.

Oyedokun was one of the teachers abducted by terrorists from Community High School, Ahoro-Esiele, in the Oriire LGA of Oyo state in May.

The victims regained their freedom on Friday after spending 56 days in captivity, following a coordinated operation involving the military, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the police.
