Stop criticizing your parent in-law. This may be difficult to do when his/her family makes life difficult for you. If you do, however, need to say something, make sure you “Speak the truth in love” and that it is motivated by love, when it concerns talking about his/her family. If this doesn’t help, ask the Lord to show you how to handle the situation in the godliest, most peaceable way possible.
