As you start your day, remember that revival is not an accidental occurrence; it is the deliberate reward of a watchful heart. Jesus commands us to remain spiritually alert, dressed for service, and holding high our burning lamps. Luke 12:35. A flickering or extinguished lamp represents spiritual complacency and a mind dulled by the cares of this world. To keep your lamp burning requires constant alertness against the subtle drift of lukewarmness. As a call to Vigilance, God is calling us out of spiritual slumber. Wake up your prayer life, dust off your word study, and position your heart to receive. The Bridegroom is moving, and only those with active, burning lamps will recognize His visitation. Do not be caught sleeping.
