Maduka Okoye has grown into one of Nigeria’s most talked about sporting personalities.

Born in Germany to a Nigerian father and German mother, the 26-year-old goalkeeper has built an impressive European career, standing tall at 6’6” as the first-choice goalkeeper for Serie A club Udinese Calcio and a proud Super Eagles player.

But lately, it’s not only football putting him in the spotlight. From Silverstone’s British Grand Prix, where he presented an award to Formula One star Kimi Antonelli, to Paris media appearances and viral moments teaching journalists Nigerian phrases, Maduka Okoye is proving his influence goes far beyond the goalpost.
