My comment,

Leaders and traditional rulers must resist the temptation of political flattery and instead hold government accountable. If indeed Tinubu has “transformed Nigeria,” then the evidence must be visible in the lives of ordinary Nigerians, in Katsina villages plagued by banditry, in Imo communities where gun runners thrive, in the markets where inflation bites. Transformation is not speeches; it is whether a mother can feed her children without fear of hunger or violence.
The Ooni’s endorsement reflects the traditional institution’s alignment with political power, but Nigerians must ask, is this transformation structural or symbolic? Is it about building lasting institutions, or about celebrating personalities? A stronger Nigerian voice would say, we welcome progress, but we demand proof in security, infrastructure, and justice, not just in ceremonies and slogans.
