Your Excellency President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 million Nigerians are writing to you with urgency and clarity. No harm should ever befall any of the 240 million Nigerians for exercising their constitutional right to freedom of speech. This principle is foundational to every democracy, including ours with all due respect sirs/madam

It has been reported that DJ Chicken was arrested in Ikeja and taken to the police headquarters. His lawyer, Rotimi Stephen, confirmed the arrest and pleaded for forgiveness on behalf of his client. The lawyer also stated that he suspects the DSS may be involved.

Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians are asking a simple question: why is a young entertainer in custody while boko haram — a violent extremist group responsible for mass killings, kidnappings, and terror since 1999 — continues to operate? Nigerian children have been kidnapped for two months now, and many others have been missing since 1999. These tragedies demand immediate action.

Respectfully to Seyi Tinubu Nigerians are asking when you will urge your father, the President, to prioritize the arrest of boko haram members who have inflicted decades of suffering on our people. You are not the President, and Nigerians expect that national security decisions remain grounded in constitutional authority and due process.

Nigerians also ask how do politicians, pastors, and leaders sleep at night when children are kidnapped daily? When families are living in fear? When justice is delayed and insecurity continues?

We demand that DJ Chicken be released and allowed to go home. Freedom of speech must not be criminalized. The focus should be on apprehending boko haram members responsible for killing and kidnapping Nigerians for decades.

Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians also demand for the abolition of the DSS in its current form and for a transparent, accountable security structure that protects 240 million Nigerians rather than intimidates them.

The world is watching — the USA, EU, and 195 countries have observed Nigeria’s governments, past and present, along with opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, and the EFCC. No country is perfect, but Nigeria can do better. Nigeria must do better.

We demand you to act decisively, lawfully, and compassionately.

Your Excellency President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc 240 milli...
