CBN Warns Against Rejection of Standard N100 Notes

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has warned Nigerians, businesses and financial institutions against rejecting the standard N100 banknote, stating that it remains legal tender and must be accepted for transactions nationwide.

The apex bank said violators may face enforcement measures under the CBN Act, urging the public to report cases of rejection and support confidence in the naira.
