INTENTIONAL LIVING FOR ETERNITY |

📖 LUKE 16:22 (KJV)
And it came to pass, that THE BEGGAR DIED, AND WAS CARRIED BY THE ANGELS INTO ABRAHAM'S BOSOM: THE RICH MAN ALSO DIED, AND WAS BURIED.

One truth that no one can escape is that death is inevitable. The real question is not whether you will die, but where you will spend eternity.

If you observe this Scripture carefully, you will notice two striking realities.

The beggar died and was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom, while the rich man also died and was buried.

Both men died, but their endings were not the same.

The beggar's story did not end in the grave. Heaven took notice of his life, and angels escorted him into eternal rest.

The rich man, despite all his earthly wealth and influence, received only a burial on earth. His possessions could not negotiate his eternity.

This teaches us that God does not measure our lives by what we accumulate but by how we live before Him.

Many people are intentional about building careers, businesses, and earthly legacies, yet give little thought to preparing for eternity.

Live each day with eternity in view. Make decisions that honor God. Invest in your relationship with Christ.

Walk in obedience, love, holiness, and faithfulness.

Earthly success is temporary, but eternal life is forever.

Be intentional; not only about succeeding on earth, but also about arriving safely in eternity.

May the Lord help us to live every day with eternity in view; and may every decision we make draw us closer to His perfect will in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
