Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians are writing to express urgent and growing concerns shared by millions of Nigerians regarding the state of agriculture, national security, and essential public services across our 36 states and 774 Local Government Areas.

Nigeria has the land, the people, and the potential to become fully food sufficient. Yet, without modern farming systems, adequate support, and strong security measures, our nation continues to struggle. We demand immediate and comprehensive investment in modern agriculture across all states and LGAs so that our farmers can produce enough food for the entire country.

We also demand you to tackle the root causes of boko haram and insecurity so that 240 million Nigerians can safely return to farming and rebuild their livelihoods. Security is the foundation of food production, and without it, progress remains impossible.

Furthermore, Nigerians continue to wait for the free electricity, free WiFi/data, and digital access that were promised decades ago. These services are essential for modern farming, education, communication, and national development.

We also demand free housing across the 36 states and 774 LGAs so that Nigerians can farm on their land rent-free. Stable housing is necessary for families to live, work, and contribute to national growth.

In addition, we demand for free hospitals and free education up to the PhD level in every state and LGA. A healthy and educated population is the backbone of a productive agricultural workforce and a prosperous nation.

Recent verified reports, including the July 9, 2026 Punch Newspapers publication, show that farmers under the Bakalori Irrigation Scheme in Talata Mafara, Bakura, and Maradun LGAs of Zamfara State are already suffering severe losses due to massive bird invasions. Over 1,500 farmers have appealed for urgent intervention. This is just one example of the challenges facing Nigerian agriculture today.

Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians are demanding action. We have the land, we have the people, and we have the will. What we need now is leadership that prioritizes farming, security, and essential public services.

We urge you to act immediately.

Francis Eze: Well said! But Mr President should start by rescuing the abducted kids. Nigerians are still waiting for their release and the prosecution of their abductors, and financiers, so as to serve as a deterrent to others.
