🇳🇬 Nigeria’s oil sector is receiving a major investment boost.
ExxonMobil and its partners are set to invest about $1 billion in the Usan Infill Project, an offshore development expected to add around 40,000 barrels of oil per day to Nigeria’s production capacity.

The project marks ExxonMobil’s return to drilling activities in Nigeria after nearly a decade, with the company’s last drilling operation reportedly taking place in 2016.

The investment comes as Nigeria continues efforts to attract foreign capital, increase crude production, and strengthen its position in the global energy market.

With major energy companies showing renewed interest, the question remains: Can Nigeria turn these investments into long-term economic growth?
