President Bola Tinubu has said the ongoing transformation of the Federal Capital Territory is a reflection of his administration’s broader vision for national development, as he inaugurated the newly completed Collector Road C01 and bridge in Abuja. Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President described infrastructure as a catalyst for economic growth, investment and job creation, stressing that the model of modernising Abuja will be replicated across cities, satellite towns and rural communities nationwide.

Tinubu revealed that the project was fast-tracked after concerns over poor access to the Nigerian Law School, commending FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for delivering the road under emergency procurement. The project features a link bridge, underground drainage and solar streetlights, improving connectivity for educational institutions and surrounding communities.
