Your time on Earth is short. Therefore, it is better spent on working on your self-image rather than your reputation. Your self-image is how you really see yourself, warts and all. Your reputation is how others see you. If you fix your self-image, your reputation will eventually resolve itself. Focusing on your reputation at the expense of your character reflects low self-esteem and a high ego ❤️
