The Fork-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus adsimilis) is one of Africa's most intelligent and charismatic birds.

Small in size but bold in spirit, when defending its territory, it fearlessly confronts birds many times its own size.

An accomplished mimic, it imitates the alarm calls of many other bird species—and even some mammals. When alarmed animals take flight and drop their food, it may swoop in and steal the abandoned meal - kleptoparasitism.
