Policy Statement on State Policing
State policing should strengthen security, not weaken democracy. Its success depends on clear funding, strong legal safeguards against political abuse, independent oversight, effective coordination with the Federal Police Service, and a definite implementation timeline. Without these safeguards, state policing risks creating more challenges than solutions. My take.

Kalu Agwu: States should be able to employ only their indignes to avoid unnecessary attacks and institutional fragmentation or politication of the police it self. No matter how many years you have leaved in a state, go back to your state of origin, if you must be a state police.
