Residential Areas Around the Coastal Highway Were Constructed Below the Flood Level; There is No Way There Won’t Be Flooding - Umahi

The coastal highway is addressing this by preventing the water from the ocean from going to the residential areas. We have also introduced culverts to help evacuate floodwaters. Regardless, there was flooding before the coastal highway, and there will be flooding after.
