TURNING OFFENCES INTO STEPPING STONES |

📖 LUKE 17:1 (KJV)
Then said he unto the disciples, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE BUT THAT OFFENCES WILL COME: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

Beloved, one of the realities of life is that offences are inevitable.

Whether in your family, workplace, ministry, business, or among friends, there will always be opportunities for people to hurt, disappoint, misunderstand, or even deliberately offend you.

The question is not whether offences will come—they certainly will. The real question is: How will you respond?

Your response to an offence will determine whether it becomes a distraction or a stepping stone to your next level.

The enemy often uses offences to derail destinies, weaken relationships, and rob believers of their peace and focus.

Many people will violate your values, challenge your principles, or disregard your convictions.

Some will do so intentionally, while others may not even realize the pain they have caused.

Regardless of how the offence comes, ask God for the grace to forgive, let go, and keep moving toward your God-ordained destination.

At the same time, wisdom demands that some issues be confronted. Not every offence should be ignored.

There are moments when you must address matters truthfully, lovingly, and courageously to prevent further damage.

Do so without bitterness, and never allow resentment to take root in your heart.

Do not let today's offence become tomorrow's limitation.

Keep your eyes on God's purpose for your life. Your future is too precious to be held hostage by yesterday's hurts.

May the Lord grant us the grace to overcome every offence without losing our focus in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
